This 930-year-old tower in China was a clock powered by water. Su Song built it in Kaifeng in 1094. A water wheel with 36 scoops turned one notch at a time, and a chain carried that motion to the top. It's the first known chain drive in history. I asked Opus 5.5 to rebuild it
